HEMEXPO, a consistent partner for shipowners and shipyards

Greek shipowners are leading the way when it comes to the renewal and upgrading of their fleets. There is a large number of Greek companies specialising in the manufacture of marine equipment and products which are gaining a strong presence in this upgrade, many of them investing heavily in research and development of marine equipment. A number of these manufacturers operate under the umbrella association HEMEXPO.

Greek shipowners could benefit through their cooperation with members of HEMEXPO by sharing their knowledge and experience in an effort to build more efficient ships while at the same time supporting Greek industry.

The SUPPORT THE LOCAL MARITIME INDUSTRY SUMMIT, is a special event to be held in Athens at the Metropolitan Hotel, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Main aim of the event is to bring together HEMEXPO member companies and the technical directors of the Greek shipping companies and engage them in an interactive dialogue that will benefit both parties.

Greek manufacturers are trying to make further in-roads into the highly competitive and demanding shipbuilding environment. Their effort will be discussed during the Summit in order to see how the design and the manufacturing of marine equipment could be improved to serve the needs of shipowners.

Eleven highly reputable HEMEXPO member companies will present their products and services while a number of technical directors will talk about their experience in this activity so important for the Greek economy.
